    Charles Henry Rennels was born on August 1st, 1890 in Indiana to Perry F. Rennels (1859 - 1924) and Lydia Ann Gibler (1863 - 1933) and he had sisters Zelda, Ruth, and Florence. Charles H. Rennels married Gladys L. Rennels (1902 - 1962). He was also married to Hazel Marie Fagley (1889 - 1964) on November 30th, 1911 in Tuscarawas, Ohio, with whom he had sons Hal (1913 - 1987) and Dale (1918 - 1932). Dale died at only 14 years old after an appendix operation.
