He married Carol Latuso Blanton, and had children Tina Marie Blanton Cross and Kenneth Lee Blanton. Charles Blanton died at age 72 years old on February 14, 2004 in Madisonville, St Tammany Parish County, LA, and was buried in Ponchatoula, Tangipahoa Parish County.
