Charles was baptized on August 25, 1897 at Church of St. Augustine in Stepney. Charles Pitchfork died at age 18 years old on December 2, 1916 in Ypres, West Flanders Belgium, and was buried at Railway Dugouts Burial Ground Vi. P. 16. in Ypres.
