Charlotte Wroe ( Mason) 1840 - 1866

Charlotte Mason was born in 1840 to Samuel Mason and Eliza Mason (Harris), and had siblings John Walter Mason, Frances Jane Mason, Mary Ann Mason, Caroline Amelia Mason, Sarah Annie Mason, and Ellen Mason. She married Thomas Wroe, and had children Frances Eliza Wroe, Alice Marion Sarah Gregory (Wroe), and Eva Charlotte Wroe. Charlotte Mason died at age 26 years old in 1866 in Richmond, TAS Australia.

In 1850, by the time she was merely 10 years old, on July 10th, President Millard Fillmore - previously Vice-President to Zachary Taylor - became the 13th President of the United States. Taylor had become ill with a still unknown intestinal ailment on July 4th and died on July 9th as a result. He had been a little over a year into his term.
