    Christian C. Hodgson was born to John N. and Eliza J. Hodson. He had one sister, Myrtle P. Hodgson. Christian Hodgson married Bertha H. Brown on February 15, 1923 in Pike County, Illinois. They had children Glenna Eloise (1926 - 2021), John Henry (1927 - 2002), Myrtle, and Laverne or Lodena June Hodgson. Christian was a veteran of World War I, having served in the United States Army as a Private First Class from April of 1918 to June of 1919.
