We were raised in Johnstown for the first 14 years of Chris's life. Then we moved often for the next several years ending in Bedford County where he Graduated. Then joined the Marines. Our mother, little sister and I got to go to his boot camp graduation in South Carolina. He was sent to Okinawa and other places and managed to come home several times. Then he was discharged from the Marines in California and I never got to see him again.

Chris graduated from Chestnut Ridge High School and played the trombone, Cello and Piano. He was in the drama club and played in his senior play.

He was kind, generous and thoughtful

Chris was about 12 years old when he saw a chipmunk being chased by a cat. He jumps out of the car before our mother could even stop and saved that chipmunk. Unfortunately, it bit him and he needed to go to the hospital. They gave Chris a penicillin shot and he ended up allergic to it. He had to stay in the hospital for several days just for trying to save a chipmunk.
