    Professional Wrestler. He was best known by wrestling fans for his tenure in the World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1980s and mid-1990s, where he wrestled the WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan in a steel cage at WrestleMania 2 in 1986. While he was promoted as being from Atlantic City, "King Kong Bundy" was actually born Christopher Alan Pallies in Woodbury, NJ, where he was a high school wrestling champion. He was trained as a professional wrestler by Larry Sharpe at the "Monster Factory" in Bellmawr, New Jersey. In 1981, he made his pro wrestling debut in the World Wrestling Federation under the name 'Chris Canyon'. A year later, he went to Dallas, Texas to wrestle for the World Class Wrestling Association and went under the names 'Big Daddy Bundy' and 'King Kong Bundy'. He feuded with the legendary Von Erich family during his World Class tenure. Before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1985, he also wrestled for other wrestling promotion companies around the country. He joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1985 and became one of the key "heels" in the company during his time there. He was first managed by Jimmy Hart, and then later by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. In 1986, he wrestled Hulk Hogan in a steel cage for Hogan's WWF World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 2. He also had various other feuds with other wrestlers during his WWF tenure. In 1988, he left the WWF for semi-retirement, but came back to wrestling in 1993 for then-Eastern Championship Wrestling (later ECW). A year later, he rejoined the WWF and wrestled for the company for a year before he was released in October of 1995. He went on to wrestle for various other independent wrestling promotions into the early 21st century. Besides wrestling, he made appearances on the television series "Married ... with Children" in the 1990s and also in a couple of films. He also did stand-up comedy.
