Clara Amalia (Petschel) Starick of Horsham Australia was born on August 9, 1870 in Hamilton, Southern Grampians Shire County, VIC to Maria Zwar Petschel and August Christian Petschel. She had siblings August Edward Petschel, Christian Bernhardt Petschel, Nathaniel Otto Petschel, and Gustav Petschel. She married Johann Friedrich Max Starick in 1906, and had children Edid Clara Lydia Petschel, Magdalena Maria Clar Starick, and Elisabeth Alwine Dor Starich. Clara Starick died at age 83 years old in 1953 in Wail, Horsham Rural City County.
