She married George Marlon Andrews on May 4, 1958 in LaGrange, Troup County. They had children Donna Gail Andrews and Dawn Ellen (Andrews) Taylor. She would also marry Horace Burlin Yates, and they were married until Horace's death on February 13, 1954 in Atlanta, Fulton County. They had children Sharon Elaine Andrews and Bubba Andrews.
