Clara Gronkowski's father was Jozef "Joseph" Gronkowski (1878 - 1914), born in Poland, and her mother was Anna Brzezinska (1886 - 1966). She had siblings John Aloysuis, Michael Joseph, and Mary Josephine Gronkowski. She also had half siblings Stnley, Walter, Pauline, Cecilia Theresa, Joseph Larry, and Edward Szalankiewicz - Solencavish. Clara married Stanley C Borucki on January 11, 1936, in Hamtramck, Michigan. Stanley was 31, married once before, and Clara was 21, never married before. He was a fireman and she was a waitress. They eventually had a daughter and 3 sons. When Clara was 35, the couple was living with their 10-year-old son, Robert, in Hamtramck Michigan. He was working as a cenus enumerator for the US Commerce Department and she was working as a cardboard stitcher in an auto supplier factory.
