Clara's mother was Brita Caisa Lavin, who married Samuel Friberg in Almhult. They emigrated to the US in 1892. Clara had six children, one who died in early childhood (Hugo); her daughters were Florence (Fremja), Thelma, Ruth and Gloria; and another son, George Edward Junior. Clara married George Edward in 1900. Married names of her daughters were Florence Grotheer (Augustus; one child Jacqueline); Thelma Rausch (Walter Jr. Buddy, Winfred Allan Chickie, Cynthia, and Gloria). Their son George Jr. (married Alice Krug) had five children, George III, Stephen, Jon Michael, Geradine and Kristine.
