Clara Louise (Chambers) Beavan of Beaver Dams, Schuyler County, NY was born on October 9, 1910 in Seville, Medina County, Ohio United States to Flossie Lance Chambers and Irwin Hyde Chambers. She had siblings Robert Chambers, Donald Chambers, Howard Chambers, Margery Chambers Trask, and Margaret Chambers Davis. She married Kenneth S. Beavan, and had children Richard Elmer Bevan, Jane Elizabeth Bevan Martin, and James Bevan. Clara Beavan died at age 100 years old on February 5, 2011 in Beaver Dams, Schuyler County, NY, and was buried on April 15, 2011 at Charlotte Valley Cemetery in East Meredith.

    Clara L. Beavan age 100, of East Creek Road, Beaver Dams, NY died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the home of her son surrounded by her family. Clara was born in Seville, Ohio, October 9, 1910, to Irwin Hyde and Flossie May (Lance) Chambers. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth S. Beavan in 1978 and is survived by her three children: Richard (Cheryl) Bevan, Beaver Dams, NY, Jane (Lance) Martin, Johnson City, NY, and James (Susan) Bevan of Middletown, Ohio; Five grandchildren: Tammy (Mark) Dobrosielski, Leslie (Christopher) Ballard, David (Jennifer) Bevan, Wendy Bevan (Brian Kent) and Kami (William) Butler; and ten great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Anna Dobrosielski, Collin and Lance Hickey and Emilia Ballard, Riley and Kegan Kent, and Ashleigh, Tabitha and Elyssa Bevan; her brother Howard Chambers of Dade City, Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Margery Trask and Margaret Davis, and her brothers Robert Chambers and Donald Chambers. She graduated from the Wilson Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star, Tuscarora-Woodhull Chapter #273. There will be no calling hours and a memorial service will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
