She married Henry George Albert Silbey Drake, and died at age 78 years old on October 27, 1954 in Sandringham, Bayside City County. Clara Drake was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery 600 Princes Hwy, in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County.
