Clara Louisa (Wood) Drake was born in 1875 in Collingwood, City of Yarra County, VIC Australia to Thomas Cuddeford Wood and Emily Sarah (Taylor) Wood, and had siblings Walter Joseph Wood, Thomas Cuddeford Wood, Frank Courtney Wood, and Alfred Sydney Wood. She married Henry George Albert Silbey Drake, and died at age 78 years old on October 27, 1954 in Sandringham, Bayside City County. Clara Drake was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery 600 Princes Hwy, in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County.
