Two weeks before he passed away. My Grandpa and Grandma and my cousin Christine came to visit my mom, myself and my step-father when we lived in Florida and took all of us to Disney World. This trip was the first and only time that my Grandpa left the state of Michigan since he returned home from the service. We had a wonderful time. I just wish I had gotten a chance to spend more time with him. I remember the raspberry bushes behind the garage. And the cooler in the garage that was always stocked with black cherry soda etc in glass bottles that you had to return to get your deposit back .Sliding down the stairs on my butt afraid I would go over the edge because there wasn't a railing.
