Clark as a preacher, construction worker, foster parent, and with a devoted pentecostal faith. Clark would see angels and be a warm caring person to the public eye but as Nancy, clarks wife sister Marian wrote, " Clark had a dark side. She describes the allignation of Nancy's family. As adults I have interviewed a lot of the kids. We were all physically abused and despite the decades of therapy were all still dealing with the scars that this man/family have left on us Foster Kids. I even interviewed members of the church to hear about there own experience with Clarks dark side.
Ill leave you with the parting words from Clark as he was twisting our limbs and over extending joints as well as folding our bodies in ways that caused extreme pain. The school admitted to us foster kids later in life that they new was going on but there was nothing to do to help during those days I gradated in 1992.
