    Obituary: Backous, Clifford G. age 86 of Coon Rapids, passed away July 21, 2015. Preceded in death by wife of 62 years, Delores; son, Mark; granddaughter, Molly Steece; grandson, Evan Foster; and parents and siblings. Survived by daughters, Pam (Dr. Richard) Steece, Mary Jo (Richard) Bandimere, and Lisa (Paul) Foster; sons, Timothy, OSB, Randy (Nancy), and Brad (Jamie); grandchildren, Luke (Jenny) Steece, Dr. Tim (Rachel) Steece, Adam (Molly) Bandimere, Jacob, Troy and Abby Backous, Elliot and Emily Foster; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Taylor and Jack; Morgan and Matthew; and many dearly loved cousins, nieces and nephews. Cliff devotedly and lovingly cared for his wife at home for over 2 years as she battled Alzheimer's. He worked at International Harvester for over 30 years. He loved playing baseball and was an avid MN sports fan. He never missed his grandchildren's sporting events. In his younger days he loved to square dance with his wife and friends. He enjoyed spending time taking care of his yard. He had a very strong dedication to his Catholic faith and the Blessed Sacrament. A special thank you to his wonderful neighbors who supported him for many years. Mass of Christian Burial to be held 10:30 AM July 29, 2015 at Epiphany Catholic Church, 11001 Hanson Blvd NW, Coon Rapids with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
