Introduction

Clifton Horace Middleton was my grandfather. He moved from Monnee Ponds Vic sometime in 1968/69 to Everton Park Brisbane to live with his daughter and my father. Unfortunately, grandpa took a stroke and eventually went to a place called Eventide at Sandgate where he spent the last 10 years of his life. We, my Mother, Nana & sometime myself would visit grandpa every Saturday and take him out for a drive and a beer which he loved. He was unable to talk due to his stroke but I always knew what he wanted. He was a kind and loving man to me (his grand-daughter) I lost him in 1970 when I was 15yrs old. I will always have a special place in my heart for my grandpa. xxxx
