My peace lies in knowing my son is in the arms of God, and I will see him again when I join him in Heaven." His brother, Dylan, wrote: "My brother, Cody, was very, very funny.     Cody Edward Geesey, 14 Soldotna resident Cody Edward Geesey, 14, died April 29, 2006, from injuries sustained in vehicle accident in Soldotna. A celebration of his life will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Sterling. The Rev. Bob Reasner will officiate. A reception will be held afterward in the youth building at the church. Cody was born December 2, 1991, in Vancouver, Washington. He moved to Alaska in 1997 and attended Soldotna Elementary School. Cody was and eighth-grader at Soldotna Middle School. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God and enjoyed sports and playing the guitar. He had a great sense of humor, his family said. "Cody was the most wonderful young man," his mother said. "He had a heart that burned with compassion for people and God. His love for the Lord blessed me and many others. Cody is survived by his father and stepmother, David and Shannon Geesey of Vancouver; mother and stepfather, Gail Elizabeth and Robert Wiley Simons of Alaska; brothers Justin David Geesey of Vancouver, Casey, Dylan, Jesse, Justin and Josh Simons, all of Alaska, Kevyn Soucy of Vancouver, and Seth and Cohen Geesey; sisters, Sarah Geesey of California, Sarah King of Alaska, and Kilah Soucy, Jaidyn and Amaris Geesey, all of Vancouver; and grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many other friends.
