Constance "Connie" Lewis Connie died peacefully on March 22, 2021 from complications of Multiple Myeloma. She was born on August 4, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois to Dr. Morris Feldman and Isabelle Robillard Feldman. It was at Northwestern that Connie met a fellow student, Richard Lewis, who became her husband, the father of her daughters and the love of her life. Richard and Connie married shortly after her graduation in 1951. She will be remembered for her ready smile, her good manners and her friendly countenance. Special thanks to the Hosperus workers for their kindness and help and to the staff of Baptist East Hospital palliative care nurses. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Louisville Symphony Orchestra would be appreciated.

Richard and Connie married shortly after her graduation in 1951. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lewis Mortimer (Henry), of Palm Beach, Florida, a grandson, Richard Lewis Bierbaum (Laura) of New Canaan, Connecticut, a granddaughter, Caroline Bierbaum LeFrak (James) of Miami, Florida and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Richard, and by her daughter, Patricia Lewis Sutton.

It was at Northwestern that Connie met a fellow student, Richard Lewis, who became her husband, the father of her daughters and the love of her life. Richard and Connie married shortly after her graduation in 1951. The couple moved to Schenectady, New York, where Richard joined the financial management training program at the General Electric Company. It was General Electric that brought the couple to Louisville, as well as Washington, DC, and Fairfield, Connecticut, via a series of managerial and executive positions in finance, sales, and distribution. Ultimately, Louisville became their forever home.
