Obituary

Cora Lee Redman was born on September 6, 1904, in Petersburg, W.Va., the daughter of the late Arch Redman and Anna (Reel) Redman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Elwood Hollingsworth, Jr., and Ronald Twyman. She was 9th born of thirteen children, eight of whom preceded her in death, six brothers, William Redman, Holmes Redman, Page Redman, Emmitt Redman, John Redman and Charles Redman, and two sisters, Jennie Redman and Lena Redman. She was a member of the Davis Chapel Methodist Church in Petersburg, after she resided to Keyser, W.Va., she attended the Church of God & Christ for a number of years. She died on Wednesday, March 2, 1977, at Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser. She leaves to mourn, two daughters, Anna Hollingsworth and Wanda Twyman, both of Keyser; two sons, Emmett Redman and Olie Redman, both of Keyser; 24 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Carrie Redman, of Petersburg; Anna Redman, of Staunton, Va., and Grace Groves, of Hubbard, Ohio; and one brother, Olie Redman, of Petersburg. The body will be at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, where friends will be received after 7 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. A service will be conducted there Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Lester Clifford will officiate and interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
