    Rites at Rockford for Cora Wachendorf Cora Marie Wachendorf, 75, of Montello, Wis, longtime resident of Rockford, IL, died Oct. 18, 1990 in Portage, WI, after a lengthy illness.Services were held Monday, Oct 22, at 11 am at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home with the burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Rockford. Cora was born Sept 15, 1915 at Osterdock to Edward and Hattie (Smith) Moser, spending her early years at Osterdock, Millville and Turkey River. She married Ferman Wachendorf in Dubuque Aug 14, 1934. Survivors include one sister, Mildred (Herb) Philbrook of Guttenberg; son Leon, daugher-in-law Karen; five granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one great-grandson.
