He had siblings Francis Bernard Sheehan, Helena "Lena" Gertrude Sheehan, Annie Eliza (Sheehan) Brereton, Dorothy Lorraine Sheehan, James William Sheehan, Morris Edwin Sheehan, Kathleen May Sheehan, and Lawrence Sylvester Sheehan. Cornelius Sheehan died at age 58 years old on April 18, 1960 at Royal Park in Parkville, City of Melbourne County.
