Dacey Mesecher was born on a farm in Klickitat County, Washington. She was the daughter of Francis M. and Alice J. Mesecher and the sixth of 10 children born. Dacey moved to Yakima, Washington where she worked many years as an elevator operator in the Masonic Temple in down town Yakima. Dacey never married and died in Ellensburg, Washington of abdominal cancer.
