He married Louisa Eyers ( Quarrell, and they had children Fanny Augusta Eyers, Charles Russell Eyers, Frederick Merridew Eyers, Emily Charlotte Kendall ( Eyers, Lilian Agnes Eyers, Maria Louisa Eyers, and Sydney Quarrell Eyers. Daniel Eyers died at age 57 years old on September 9, 1881 in South Yarra, VIC Australia.
