Daniel was born in Hilo, Hawaii to Daniel Morris Moniz SR and Virgina Carvalho also of Hilo Hawaii. After his mother passed his father married Elsie Paulos Moniz of Hilo, Hi Elsie raised Daniel and his sister Ida mea Moniz .Daniel Jr went on to the Marine Corp and Ida to the women's wax.
His dad Daniel SR then had two more children from Elsie, Melvin Wayne and Deborah Malia Moniz. Melvin has passed and Deborah Moniz Demello lives in Washington State.
Daniel Jr married his first wife Judy and had two boys and a daughter. Monty moniz . daniel moniz and daughter monica moniz. Then Married the second wife Debra and adopted Chad Moniz son of Debra in Sulpher Springs.
