    Daniele was Italian. His mother, Carmen Rizzo Marchesin, was a high school art teacher from Campania, while hir father, Raffaele Rizzo, was from Surano (LE), Apulia. Daniele was the first of three children. The second one was Maria Donatella Rizzo (known under the name of Mariella), and the third one was Vittorio. Daniele had four daughters: Alessandra, Emanuela, Claudia, and Flavia.

    Daniele had a bright academic history, attending a scientific-oriented path in high school, where he was chosen for school representative, and later on, obtained a 110/110 mark, Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economy and Commerce, at the University of La Sapienza, Rome. By that time, he was one of the few lucky people in Italy to ever see a computer, as the University had one. It occupied an entire room!

    Daniele was baptized Catholic, under the baptism name of Daniele Antonio Mariano. He was not a particularly spiritual person, but he believed that there had to be a greater mind that created the set of rules of the Universe.

    Despite when he was young, it was mandatory to enroll in the army, Daniele couldn't serve as a soldier, as he was too skinny.

  • Professional Career

    Daniele didn't work to live. He lived to work. He transformed every visceral passion of his into a profitable career. First, he loved cars, so he worked in the USA for General Motors, then became a car dealer in Rome for Volvo, Volkswagen, and many other car brands. Then he wanted to pursue a career with boats, so in 1993 he founded Rascala Boats S.p.A. and shared with the world his passion for pleasure boating, he was responsible for the design, production management, and selling. He even obtained several licenses for his absolutely innovative producing strategies! He sold thousands of boats in over 20 countries.
