David was baptized at First Assembly of God Jenks Ok. He married Rosa Cooper in in Panama, and they were married until David's death in 1995. He had children David Cooper Jr. and Robert Cooper. David Cooper was buried at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery Section CS Site 214 1423 Cemetery Road, in Fort Gibson.

David's Family lived a long
and good life. Most of his Mothers Family lived into their nineties and his siblings
are still living good lives in Tulsa, Tahlequah and Afton, Ok.
