David Adair Cooper was born in 1949 at Tulsa, Okla to Virgil Elton Cooper Sr and Alpha Cherokee (Adair) Cooper, and had siblings Delores Vaught, Virgil E. Cooper Jr, and Suzan Anderson. David was baptized at First Assembly of God Jenks Ok. He married Rosa Cooper in in Panama, and they were married until David's death in 1995. He had children David Cooper Jr. and Robert Cooper. David Cooper was buried at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery Section CS Site 214 1423 Cemetery Road, in Fort Gibson.
