Mary B. Williams aka Margaret and her husband, David Arthur Carl, were both born in Pomeroy, Meigs Co, Ohio. They married 24 Aug 1879 in Meigs County and had nine children: Lillie May, Steve James, John Wilson, Anna Evelyn, Christopher Arthur, Christina Malissa, Carrie Bell, Mollie Dorcas & Elbert Paul. David & Mary had moved their family to West Virginia, Nebraska, then Missouri. David died in May 1941 and Mary in May 1942.

Great picture! I am curious as to whom were the parents of John H. Carl and where they lived. The family reminds me of our Christopher Carl and his family, whose picture I also have on AncientFaces. He also had several sons and only one daughter.

Excuse me, it was Christopher's brother Leroy who had seven sons and one daughter.
