I knew David Attie. Was introduced to him by his girlfriend at the time Muriel Wertheimer who was my best friend. Later on I was introduced to Hiro, a friend of Davids. This period of time was about 1957-1958. Photos of myself were taken by David for a book he was taking pictures for then. Cafe Society. Hiro was a fashion photographer then, who worked for Richard Avedon, and photos of myself were taken at his studio. I was about 20 years old then. This books contents were recently published in 2015 as " Brooklyn: A personal memoir with the lost photographs of David Attie". What nostalgia this brings to me. !My name is Charlett Hobart and I live in Manhattan as of 2018.
