He had a brother John Anthony Hildenbrand. He married Eileen Theresa Hildenbrand in 1969 in Lansdale, Montgomery County, PA, and they were married until David's death on July 29, 2014 in Souderton. He had children Mary Elizabeth Ciocca and James David Hildenbrand. David Hildenbrand was buried on August 4, 2014 at St. John Neumann Cemetery 3797 County Line Rd., in Chalfont, Bucks County.

    David B. Hildenbrand,68,of Souderton,passed away Tuesday,July 29,2014 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Fertig) Hildenbrand,his wife of 45 years. Born January 8,1946 in Philadelphia,he was a son of the late Rowland and Mabel (McNickle) Hildenbrand. A graduate of Abington High School,Mr. Hildenbrand earned his bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University in 1967 and a Masters in Business Education from Temple University in 1972. His career as an educator spanned 39 years,retiring as a Business Teacher with Perkiomen Valley High School in 2006. David was a longtime member of St. Maria Goretti Church,Hatfield,where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He enjoyed volunteering for Lansdale Catholic High School,and he loved spending time at the shore,especially Cape May. In addition to his wife,he is survived by his daughter,Mary E. Ciocca and her husband Derek,of Blue Bell;son James D. Hildenbrand of Roslyn;granddaughter,Rosina A. Ciocca;three brother-in-laws,Rick Fertig and his wife,Adrienne,of Hatfield,Martin Fertig,and James Fertig,both of Lansdale;and sister-in-law,Elizabeth Fertig,also of Lansdale. He was preceded in death by his brother,John A. Hildenbrand. Relatives and friends may call between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M. Sunday,August 3,2014 at St. Maria Goretti Church,1601 Derstine Rd.,Hatfield,PA 19440. A second visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in St. John Neuwmann Cemetery,Chalfont. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lasker Funeral Home,Lansdale. In lieu of flowers,the family requests that contributions in Mr. Hildenbrand's memory to St. Maria Goretti Parish,address above,or Lansdale Catholic High School,700 Lansdale Ave.,Lansdale,PA 19446. To Plant Memorial Trees in memory,please visit our Sympathy Store.
