David Jonap of Ohio was born on April 14, 1889 to Pauline Jonap and Abraham Jonap. He had siblings Max Jonap and Emanuel Jonap. He married Elsie (Vickers) Jonap, and had children Robert D Jonap and John W Jonap. David Jonap died at age 74 years old in December 1963 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County.

In his early 30's, he began his rise to power in German politics, eventually becoming the leader of the Nazi Party and Führer of Nazi Germany. He presided over the death of millions of civilians as well as leading Germany through World War II.

In 1904, David was just 15 years old when the Russo-Japanese war began. The Russian Empire and the Japanese Empire began fighting over the territories of Manchuria and Korea. Russia wanted a warm water port on the Pacific Ocean while Japan feared growing encroachment from Russia into Asia. So the Japan fleet launched a surprise attack on the Russian Navy and a one year war began. President Roosevelt of the United States brokered peace between the two nations. It was the first time in the modern era that an Asian power showed its dominance over a European power.
