He had children David Ty Moldt, Tawnya Michelle (Moldt) Vestal, Hailey Kennair Acres, David Chase Vestal, and Jayson Lee Hanshew. David Moldt died at age 69 years old in August 2016, and was buried in August -2016 in Las Vegas, Clark County, NV.

Hailey Kennair and David Chase Vestal. One great grandson, Jayson Lee Hanshew. His second wife was Rose Taylor(deceased in 95) who had seven children from her previous marriage. His third partner was Carol Palmieri.(deceased in 2013) His fourth wife was Jeanine Valdez. married 9months until his death in 2016.

David's main interests were automobiles. He had a short term race car driver on dirt tracks. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed going to the races and spent many years as an auto mechanic. He second love was gambling. He played blackjack primarily at the Horseshoe Casinos. He gambled in Las Vegas, and Shreveport, La. Late in his life he began buying classic cars.
