Edris Florence (Lind) Lindley of Tarrant County, TX was born on March 18, 1929 in Waupaca, Waupaca County, Wisconsin United States. She married Bob Lindley on February 7, 1963 in Parker County, TX and they later divorced on June 30, 1973 in Tarrant County. They had a child Lance Robert Lindley. She was the parent of Kathryn Lynn Craker, and Sheree Alaine (Sanders). Edris Lindley died at age 85 years old on February 17, 2015 in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX.

Dee spent her youth as the daughter of a German-stock dairy farmer, prone to alcoholism and bouts of domestic violence, in Wisconsin's "Great Dead Heart" and most of her adult life in first Florida and then Texas. Following her second divorce from Bob Lindley (her 3rd and 4th of 5 husbands), she moved frequently, first back to Florida (Leesburg, to be specific), then Louisville, Kentucky, then Tuscon, Arizona, before moving back to be near her daughters in Tarrant County, Texas.

Edris received a four-year degree from the (seemingly now defunct) Chicago School of Nursing. She was working on -- and may have received -- her Masters in Nursing in the late 1970s or early 1980s.
