Have from his heart: Delbert and Gerry were very giving people, they kept and supported there only daughter and son in law all of there life due to social handicaps. They were also highly looked upon for there many contributions they maid to there community over the years. They were always eager to serv and would lend a hand in hard times, as they themselves had experienced from coming up in the great depression error and world war two. They loved farming and raised many sheep and cattle, they were also small grain farmers. Gerry later in life would make a career at the Corning class factory where she would end up retiring from. Just before retirement they were able to build a little retirement bungalow, while still contiinuing to support there only daughter and son in law and having to give up the ole farm house for the provisions of that of the daughter and son in law due to social dysfunction. Inspite of it all they were finally able to take retirement from there many years of labor and somewhat enjoyed there it for about 18 years.
