I was stationed with Delmar in Okinawa. Delmar was somewhat shy and soft spoken. I don't think he could have hurt a fly. He bought a brand new Subaru when he was in Okinawa - I had never seen such a small car and he paid $700.00 for it :) It had a two cylinder engine and I think he had to mix gas with the oil, but I'm not sure about that. He let me drive it and my foot would touch the brake and clutch at the same time they were so close together. Delmar said his father was a high ranking individual - I don't remember much more than that. He was married and had his wife in Okinawa (as I recall). We worked in an electronics lab repairing various instruments. What was the cause of his death? I'm sorry for those of you who knew and loved him. Gary
