Straub, Beverly (Straub) Boyland, and Herman K. Straub. He married Pamela Allene (Mattson) Demsey-Straub-Wawrzyniak, and had children Stephanie (Straub) Booth and Stacey Straub. Dennis Straub died at age 59 years old on November 1, 2012.

Dennis Lee Straub of Holton, age 59, went home to the Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2012, surrounded by family. Dennis had long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on May 27, 1953, in Belleville, Illinois, to the proud parents, Herman Straub and Beatrix (Beckemeyer) Straub, but lived most of his life in Holton. Dennis was a 1971 graduate of Waterloo Public High School. In his career he was a manager of a grocery store and also worked in the insurance field in the Muskegon area. Dennis was also a court officer, for Muskegon County, which he did for numberous years and enjoyed the position very much. He loved watching the news, fishing, learning the Bible, traveling and taking care of his lawn, but foremost was always being with his family. Dennis was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Holton. Survivers included two daughters, Stephanie (Michael) Booth of Twin Lake and Stacey Straub of Holton; granddaughters, Kaylee and Midajah of Holton; brothers, Wayne (Esther) Straub of Waterloo, Illinois, Gary (Janet) Straub of Waterloo, and Herman Straub of Holton; sisters, Shirley (Ronald) Weihl of Twin Lake, Judy Bey of Holton, and Beverly (John) Boyland of Manchester, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews. Dennis L. Straub was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Dean Ray.
