The Bestest of Friends, My Brother
Some if not even one may not see this. Derry, you will see it and I hope you smile. There was never a friend on this earth that I have ever had that was as loyal and true as you Derry. You took me under your wing, you made me your friend for which I am eternally grateful. You once said I was your brother and although many say that these days, back then, I know you meant it. You carried me through when I need to be carried, you lifted me up when I could not and you Derry are my friend. Many went at you full force for being my friend.... this I know and yet through it all you never gave me up. You stood by me as my friend, my brother till the end. I can not forgive myself for not staying in touch as time went by. I know I could have lifted you up and carried you when you needed it and I was not there. I should have been. I had no idea there were any issues. Nearly everyday I think of you and talk to you, telling you that I loved you and I am sorry I was not there. I hope and pray that we will meet again. Me, you Marlene and AL, Mike & Lucy just like old times. Please accept my apology my friend my brother. Love you Derry and I swear I miss you. Your friend forever, David
