Diane Lynn (Brannen) Miller of Claxton, Evans County, GA was born on October 14, 1940 to William Donaldson Brannen and Lois (Robinson) Brannen. She had siblings Joseph Brannen and Sandra Helen (Brannen) Herrin. She married Rex Miller Jr., and had children Karen Lynn (Miller) McNeese, Kevin Alan Miller, Kalan Austin McNeese, and Karla Anslee McNeese. Diane Miller died at age 67 years old on March 5, 2008.

CLAXTON - Diane Brannen Miller, 67, passed away March 5, 2008, after a long illness. The Bulloch County native had resided in Claxton since 1979. She was a member of the Claxton First United Methodist Church. She was a retired school teacher. Survivors: one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Alan McNeese of Claxton; one son, Kevin Miller and Betsy West of Savannah; one brother, Joe Brannen, and wife, Vilda, of Atlanta; one sister, Sandy Herrin, and husband, Raymond, of Statesboro; special family, Rex Jr. and Kathy Miller of Statesboro and Joyce Brayshaw of Statesboro; two grandchildren, Kalan and Karla McNeese of Claxton; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Saturday, March 8, 5-9 p.m., at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home. Funeral: Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. at Claxton First United Methodist Church. Burial: Brewton Cemetery. Remembrances: American Diabetes Association, 5105 Paulsen Street, Savannah, Ga. 31405; or First United Methodist Church, 401 W. Main Street, Claxton, Ga., 30417.
