My grandma was an amazing woman! I loved to spend weekends at her home. And during the summers I would spend more time there. She made fabulous spaghetti sauce. And though she was Italian, she married a Polish man - Joseph Polak. So on Easter Grandma would make bapka - Polish Easter bread. I learned he skill. I was always her favorite..she told me that many many times. I was very humbled when she passed on her wedding ring to me before she died. It was special.
