Rosie Gates
I met Dick Bantz at WSU when he was a freshman living in Neill Hall and I was a sophomore living across College Way in McAllister Hall. He roomed with a fellow who became a friend and was also friends with many of the people I socialized with. I will never forget what an extremely good-looking young man he was with one of the most radiant smiles I have ever seen. After that first year, our paths did not cross again, and I have wondered from time to time what trajectory he life took.
