Jerry was my great grandmothers father. Her name is Docia Sylvia Watt. She was raised by her birth mothers sister and husband. She took their name Carpenter. Her birth mothers name was Mahala Louise Watt. Mahala married Thomas Benjamin Thoma and moved from Missouri to California.
