  • Introduction

    Dolores Loretta Emiliani (4/25/1929-4/7/2020, 90.92 yrs young) She is survived by four children and two grandchildren: Alex Trojakowski (wife Lisa), Stefanie (Trojakowski) Potapa, Angela Maria Pasquale, Joseph Pasquale (fiancée Margaret LaManna MD), and her grandchildren (from daughter Stefanie): Jessica Rose Potapa and John David Polizze. Also, many cousins, both here in America and in Spoleto, Umbria, Italy where her parents, Maria and Giovanni Emiliani, were from. She outlived two husband's: Bartholomio Pasquale and Edward Anthony Trojakowski. Dolores also outlived all of her siblings who grew up with her in Chambersburg, NJ: Elio, Columbia, Tony, Vanda and Irene. She is survived by many of her nephews and nieces. She belonged to St. Gregory the Great for over 30 years, as an active parishioner she sang in their choir, volunteered for helping hands program, worked at their fair, and participated in countless other church-related activities. Career-wise, Dolores worked as an Administrative Assistant at the NJ Dept of Health, Trenton, NJ in veterinary science unit in the 1960's. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Burmah-Castrol Oil Company in Raritan Center, Edison, NJ in the 1980's. She finally worked as an Administrative Assistant at Educational Testing Center, first at their Rosedale Campus in Princeton, NJ, but then at their Princeton Carnegie Center Office in mid to late 1990's, retiring at the age of 68. She passed away into God's loving arms on Tuesday morning, 4-7-2020.

    Dolores was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. She met her first husband while caring for her ailing parents. She had her first two children in Trenton NJ until her first husband's passing. When she met her 2nd husband at the Hightstown Ballroom, she moved first to Edison, NJ and had her second two children there. Then she settled in Colonia, NJ for approximately 16 years soon afterwards. Then when she changed jobs from Edison to Princeton, NJ, she relocated to Hamilton, NJ for 1 year, then Hamilton Square, NJ for approximately 15 years. She finally settled in Robbinsville, NJ until the end of her independent life.

    Dolores graduated Trenton Central High School in 1946. She became an expert at key punch operation in the 1960s as well as typing 80 words per minute on typewriters and mainframe computer systems. She took endless software classes for her job as an administrative assistant at the Educational Testing Service corporation and throughout her career.
