He had 8 siblings including: Samuel A. (1912-1981), Antonette (1914-2003), Charles (1917-2004), Freda R. (1918-1990), Joesph S. (1919-2012), Angelo J. (1922-1979), and Frank S. (1927-1998). In 1930, he moved to Niagara Falls, Niagara, New York, USA and joined the United States military on November 2, 1942. In 1944, he moved to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He was married to Freda Fantrazzo and also to Antonina Rinaldo on January 7, 1930 in Niagara Falls, New York, USA. Dominic Fantrazzo passed away on May 4, 1990 in Ontario, Canada.

In 1911, in the year that Dominic Fantrazzo was born, the first use of aircraft as an offensive weapon occurred in the Turkish-Italian War. First used for aerial reconnaissance alone, planes were then used in aerial combat to shoot down recon planes. In World War I, planes and zeppelins evolved for use in bombing.

In 1945, at the age of 34 years old, Dominic was alive when on April 12th, President Franklin D. Roosevelt died of a cerebral hemorrhage in Warm Springs, Georgia. At 1p, he was sitting for a portrait when he complained that he had a "terrific pain" in the back of his head and collapsed. A doctor was summoned and the doctor gave him a shot of adrenaline into his heart. It didn't help and he was pronounced dead at 3:30 p.m. A slow moving train took him back to Washington D.C. while thousands of mourners lined the tracks. He was buried at his home in Hyde Park, New York.
