Add Memories, Stories & Photos about Donald

Don Haurath was a dear friend of my dad, Don Reisig, Although, I never got to meet Don before he passed, my dad shared many memories of him and told us that he would have been a huge influence on our lives, almost like a Godfather. I was told that when Don was on a short leave, it was right when I was born in November and he got to hold me. I wish I had a picture but I don't. I think he was also in my parent's wedding, not sure but I have their album. I hope someone in his family can stay in contact with me. [contact link]. When I get the chance to go to the memorial someday in Washington D.C. with my family we are going to cherish that. Because of him, I've always held Vietnam Veterans close to my heart.
