The following obituary appeared in The Venture County Star - Ventura California - on Sunday, August 9, 2009: Fillmore Donald Crenshaw Donald Crenshaw was born on June 4, 1946 in Michigan, and passed from this world on July 31, 2009 at his home in Fillmore, with the love of his life by his side. If you knew Donald, the first thing you would notice would be his blue eyes. Donald did not know a stranger, he was a friend by all who knew him. Don was a man of his word, he was a fair kind person, and would help out when possible, he was fun to be around. Throughout most of Don's working career, he was a manager for a tire store. He treated his co-workers and employees fairly, no one was ever treated differently. If you were one who knew Don, you knew he had three loves, they were his Harley Davidson, which he drove to work everyday, his "wife" Cara German, and his life in general. Don was a very simple man, as long as he had his motorcycle, his wife and his life, he was set. Don and Cara enjoyed movies, and history, and just spending time with each other. Don is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Cara German, and many friends. He will be missed by all that knew him and loved him. A celebration of Donald's life will take place on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 4 p.m. at the Camino del Sol Memorial Center, located at 200 N.C. Street in Oxnard CA.
