Donald Eugene Hogan was born to Clarence Eugene Hogan (1922 - 1971) and Helen Maurine Sandlin (1926 - 2005). His father was born in Texas and his mother was born in Louisiana. He had one sister , Linda. Donald Hogan first married Virgie Mae Tabers (1951 - 2018) in 1967. They were the parents of the celebrity model and actress Anna Nicole Smith, born Vickie Lynn Hogan, (1967 - 2007). After they divorced, he than married Wanda Fay Atkinson on February 27, 1970 in Harris County Texas. They had two daughters, and a son. Donald and Wanda divorced on June 2, 1978. Donald then married Twila J. Brown, age 17, on September 1, 1979, in Adams County, Ohio. They divorced on April 28, 1993 in San Jacinto, Texas. They did not have any children. On October 21, 1996, Donald Hogan, 49, married Carolyn S. Vandver, 43, in San Jacinto, Texas. Donald Hogan was a veteran of the United States Army. He served during the Vietnam War era.
