    Don was the smartest most interesting person I've ever met by far. I miss him everyday. He said things I've never heard before he did things I've never seen before and always made me laugh. I know he loved his daughter Vanessa. I met her . I didnt knw he had another daughter i didnt know him long enough and only when he was sick.I look forward to seeing him on the other side♥️♥️♥️☠ I'm putting the skull and crossbones here even though he preferred the skull and crossbones with the bones crossed below the chin, this is the closest one I could find..love Leslie Fenton

    He was a well respected individual in his community and had many friends and family who Love and will miss him dearly. He survived by; His mother:Virginia Hatfield, Ex Fionce:Vanessa J Beckman, 2 Daughters: Vanessa L Swanson & Rebecca (Annie Jo) Swanson, 3 Sisters: Sony Pitts, Jill Florence,&Lori Swanson, and 4 Brothers: Dale Hatfield, Jesse Swanson, and Guy Swanson. Donald was a very intelligent man, he was in the U.S Marine Corps during the Korean War and was once married to A woman by the name of Cindy shortly afterwards,they went there separate wayes within 2 years of bring married and Donald moved on to be with the love of his life Vanessa who is mother of his 1st born daughter Vanessa Loren. They were together for 10 plus years until she decided to separate from him due to Mental he although problems...still remaining as close friends for their daughters sake. 5 years or so later Donald conceived another daughter Annie Jo with a long time friend by the name of Sandra Grass. She was 2 yrs old when he passed away. He loved spending time with his daughter Vanessa, tinkering on vehicle's and motorcycles and he was a huge collector of many guns, knives, pins and interesting miscellaneous items. He was a chemical engineer for Shell Chemical in pittsburg california until his health went down hill..from then on he retired to s.s.I and spent most of his time with daughter Vanessa and loved pranking and cracking jokes with close friends. He was a black belt in ty quan doe and jujitsu...he was a very brave, intellectual man, and a wonderful father. Donald will always be remembered as Donald Hump, or Dr.Don...we miss you so much and scold you for neglecting your health...because you'd still be here if you would have taken better care of yourself. Now y ok u have a Neice Born in 2013 named Neveah Marie who will never know you and 2 Daughters fatherless and no one to walk them down the isle. But We LOVE YOU Still daddy♡
