He would also marry Sherril Hockett, and they had children Eric Reiter, Brenda Libal, and Nancy Heppler. Donald Reiter died at age 75 years old on December 30, 2013 in La Crosse, Rush County.

    Donald Reiter 1/2/2014 Donald Reiter, 75, La Crosse, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at his home. He was born Sept. 2, 1938, in Beloit to Hubert and Helen (Walsh) Reiter. He was a resident of La Crosse for 10 years, moving from Ellinwood. He married Sherril Hockett. He later married Lorann M. Jacobs on Nov. 15, 1994, in Great Bend. She preceded him in death Dec. 30, 2005. He was a repairman in the electronics industry prior to retirement. Survivors include two sons, Leon Reiter, Wichita, and Eric Reiter, Tennessee; two daughters, Brenda Libal, Hays, and Nancy Heppler, South Carolina; three brothers, Edwin Reiter, Ponca City, Okla., and Ben Reiter and William Reiter, both of Hays; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Connie Storment. There will be no services; cremation has taken place. Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse, is in charge of arrangements.
