I am researching my late wife's family history. Her grandfather Thomas Hamilton Brown had three children to his second wife, Ellen Trimble, one was Thomas Lindsay Brown b1913 in Rutherglen Victoria Australia. I found in electoral records his wife was named Donaldina Louie. They lived in Maryborough Victoria Australia where I found Donaldina listed in 1937 as a nurse at the Maryborough Hospital.
On enlistment in the Royal Australian Air Force, Thomas Lindsay Brown listed his wife Donaldina Louie as his wife and next of kin. I have not located his marriage date but it would have happened between 1937 and Thomas's enlistment on 16 February 1942. His service number was 50829 discharged 21 February 1946. Thomas died in Maryborough in 2003. I believe they had no children and have not found a record of death for Donaldina, she is probably still living.
