Donat Cartier was married to Anita (Cote) Cartier (born 1921) on October 24, 1941 in Derry, New Hampshire. They had two children: Richard and Linda Cartier. Donat was a veteran of World War II. DONAT A. CARTIER, 77, of Winter Haven died Thursday at Winter Haven Hospital. A native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, he moved to this area 15 years ago from Plaistow, New Hampshire. He worked in the tool department of Western Electric Co. machine shop. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army, and a member of Disabled American Veterans and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven. He is survived by his wife, Anita; a son, Richard of Manchester, Connecticut; a daughter, Linda Janvrin of Merrimac, Massachusetts; two brothers, Armand of Haverhill and Robert of West Haven, Connecticut; five sisters, Lydia Allard, Pauline Boudreau, Aurea DiProfio and Jeanette Barlow, all od Haverhill, and Rose Alfa of Bayview, Maine; and eight grandchildren.
